About us

What our chapter does

Our campus chapter usually holds an event of some kind about every other week: Tunes for Tools (our big spring fund raiser), Saturday builds (8:30 am-4:00 pm), Compassion for Humanity meeting (make bag lunches and bring them to an emergency shelter), and Shantytown (educational experience) are some examples. At meetings, we share information for upcoming events and have sign-ups for those events.

We offer both winter and spring break trips to various places in the continental United States. The trips usually cost around $400 and last about one week. This past winter we sent groups to Washington D.C., South Carolina, and Florida. Trip sign-ups for spring break will take place at a meeting; Habitat members will get the chance to sign up for the trips before non-members.
